Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Original recordings   December 12, 2007
Unlike a lot of inexpensive oldie compilations, this one has informative liner notes. And so far as I can tell, these are the original recordings.

If you already have some collections of 60's R&B hits, you might not need this one. But if you don't, you could do a lot worse than the ten tracks here. They include the original hit versions of Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman," and Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness."
