Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Coldplay's songs propelled them to the top of the charts and around the world several times over. The elegant, emotional air of Coldplay's music received a rousing send-up on this loving tribute to the band. Vibrant violins, lush cello, and evocative viola create sweeping vistas of beauty that challenge the listener to enjoy Coldplay s best songs in a new architecture.

Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars No depth   November 21, 2008
Well, this isn't so much of a "tribute" as it is just a hollowed out version of the songs played merely by a string quartet. If you like string quartets all on there own THAT much, you'd probably love it, but personally, I think this CD really lacks depth in sound given such an enormous lack of instruments, and they're hardly charming reiterations of the songs at that. Thank God I decided to come home and preview the CD before actually buying it on the spot when I saw it at the store.
