This compillation is a mixed bag December 25, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This 1998 compilation of dance tracks that rocked the charts in 1985 is an odd mix. There is the bumpin track "point of no return", and then there's a horridly cheesy track by Pattie Labelle...sad times...but most of the tracks are bumpin...some are just not great DANCE songs
The series goes out with a bang...and 12" versions!!! August 5, 2005 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Practically all 12" versions, and some of the best dance music to come out of the 80s. Track times are:
1. new attitude (6:12) 2. point of no return (6:07) 3. fresh (the remix!!!) (5:51) 4. 19 (12" version-the album version is actually longer!) (5:15) 5. freeway of love (rock mix-there's a better 12" version than this) (4:53) 6. loveride (6:43) 7. everybody wants to rule the world (5:43) 8. loverboy (8:05) 9. we are young (6:55) 10. turn your back on me (why this ONE short version???) (4:00)
good listening pleasure for the money September 20, 1999 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
this cd had a much better selection of songs than most other cd's in this billboard category. still could have have better selection. the type of dance music varied too much. a few songs were of flip-side quality. it was still a good buy.
