A happy customer February 23, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I originally thought there were only music videos to the songs on the "The Prodigy: Their Law" CD but was pleasently surprised to see live performances at Brixton Academy and ofcourse the making of videos like firestarter.
I really liked it and would recommend it to anyone.
The Prodigy, generally in all (1990 - 2005) December 24, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Bought this DVD yesterday as a Christmas gift for myself. Also bought regular - audio cd one week ago, though it was released somewhere in october. Just because I'm a big fan of The Prodigy, I've got all their albums and singles, I decided not to hurry with "The Singles" release. But now I gave it a try. And, well, I think it's quiet good. There are so many bad compilations now, that you have to think and decide - "to be or not to be". Well, for example, the songlist is great I mean, all the singles and so on, but it contains some unknown and fresh remixes which ain't said on the cd's back cover!! Be CAREFUL! This is bout cd. But now, DVD. Live at Brixton academy was great, I mean, I had never seen them in live - action before. After some minutes it can become monotonous, (because of the lights and crazy voices) but I found it quiet attractive. Camera work is good - tight and precise (keepin' up the rythm in some places really cool). But the best thing on this DVD is all the videos from their songs. (well, I think, all, but maybe I have missed something?) Also behind scenes were great. Interesting making of "Firestarter" and funny replics and comentarries from buddies around the filming place. I think this is great DVD for all the Prodigy hardcore fans. For others it could be too boring..
