4 out of 5 stars Great compilation from a great band   February 14, 2006
I received The Prodigy - Their Law double-CD around Christmas (import version) and ever since, the CD has not left my player in my car. The first CD contains all the hits - or rather best known tracks - from the band with the exception of 'Baby's Got A Temper' which is a big shame, as it is a great single. Good news for those who will buy the DVD - that one does have 'Baby'
The second CD contains remixes and a few live tracks, which doesn't add too much to this compilation, except some curiosity to known versions. The live songs are ok, although it leaves you hungry for more live material - can we have a live album, please??.
Anyway, this is a great compilation from a great dance band and will keep you toe-tapping along for a long time. If only 'Baby's Got A Temper' was on this CD, then I could've given it 5 stars

4 out of 5 stars a trip down memory lane   November 5, 2005

If you are between 30 and 40 now then there is a fair chance The Prodigy formed part of the soundtrack of your youth. Even if you, like me, weren't a fan at the time you can't have avoided their decade or so of singles, many of which still linger in the mind today.

Firestarter is, for most people, the track that turned the band from a dance act to a real musical force and converted many non-believers. Breathe and Smack My Bitch Up confirmed that view.

This is the perfect album for people like me who know all the songs but have never ever bought a Prodigy album before. This will do us fine thanks.
